Project Interfaith Message Board Policy

Project Interfaith’s web presence provides meaningful interaction for users to share about their lives, religious experiences and knowledge.  Interactions on the website are public, therefore Project Interfaith is best served when users conduct themselves with proper online etiquette commonly referred to as “Netiquette.”

It is the hope of Project Interfaith that through our web presence we will be able to foster a community discussion that provides value to those who read and interact with our site.  Please keep this in mind when posting.

Some helpful hints on posting on the Project Interfaith website:

    * Speak from your own experience instead of generalizing
    * Try to build relationships with people instead of arguing over any topic
    * Be succinct, clear and thoughtful in your responses
    * Stay on topic as best as possible
    * Try not change others opinions but rather state why you believe what you believe
    * Respect others and foster good will (agree to disagree when appropriate)

Things not to do:

    * SPAM the message board with advertising or try to sell products
    * Use Project Interfaith’s web presence for your own financial or personal gain
    * Argue as if you are right and everyone else is wrong
    * Dominate a discussion by posting repeatingly before others respond
    * Attack, blame, or engage in putdowns including swearing or calling others names

It is the hope of Project Interfaith that through our web presence we will be able to foster a community discussion that provides value to those who read and interact with our site.  Please keep this in mind when posting.  Project Interfaith does not condone one point of view over another.
